Rowe's IGA opens its fifth location in Jacksonville. Commodore Realty proudly welcomes Rowe’s IGA Supermarket to its Marietta Square Shopping Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Rowe’s IGA is set to open a full service grocery store in 35,500 square feet in the fall of 2013.

Located on the corner of Beaver Street and Bulls Bay Highway, the Marietta Square Shopping Center serves the West Jacksonville sub-market and caters to a captive residential patron base. According to Jorge Ventura, Leasing Agent representing the Landlord in the transaction, “The closest competing center is approximately 4 miles away, providing Rowe’s IGA Supermarket a great opportunity to capture the currently underserved residential population north of I-10.” Rowe’s IGA has an excellent reputation in the Jacksonville market with this being its fifth location.

Rowe’s separates itself from the competition with quality meats and a broad selection of products serving the Eastern European, Hispanic, Haitian, Jamaican and other ethnic populations throughout Jacksonville, tailoring their product line to serve their customers depending on the location. Rowe’sand is a member of the Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA) which is an affiliation of grocers that have been around since 1926 and hasve more than 5,000 locations worldwide. In preparation for this new tenant, the property owner is overlaying the parking lot and upgrading the parking lot lighting to create a more enjoyable shopping experience for Rowe’s IGA’s new patrons.
